Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. It took a few trips to learn all of the engine and would like to make it do what I wanted. After that, it was a breeze. During a trip, I threw the remote control for a friend in another boat. This remote control my boat at a distance. The remote has a range long enough. While we did for fun, it occurred to me later that this would be a function to save lives, if you happened to fall into the water and the wind / current pushed the boat away from you. The remote control is waterproof and floats.
After adjusting short, I found the movement back toward the center are very smooth. In difficult conditions, the boat moved a bit ', maybe about 10 meters or so from downtown. We not only use for fishing, but the sun, fireworks over the lake, etc. This has reduced complaints from my wife to spend the money, because she likes it too. I have not even got my real throughout the year. What a huge relief for my back, that alone is worth it. I also use the "directional" a lot. Point the front of the trolling motor to the point along the coast and set the speed (up arrow, down arrow-simple) and goes to this place as the fish. In case of bad weather, I have to make some course corrections on this little sometimes, but I have the remote control at me and then takes a second and can be done from where I am ... its unreal how simple it is to control the boat ... that changes the whole fishing experience for me and all those who are with the fish and getting a lot more this year to try. (Geneva smallmouth bass, you can not beat). Reading the remote tells you how fast you move, if you want some speed behind you do not need to see one of your other electronic equipment to see it! Its impressive, simple, and awfully good.
