Johnson Outdoors MinnKota i-Pilot Accessory for Terrova Trolling Motors Review
Johnson Outdoors MinnKota i-Pilot Accessory It 'simple: less time spent on the direction and positioning of your boat, you can catch more fish. Enter iPilot, controlling and directing to your boat using GPS technology. Blocking of a fishing spot at the touch of a button - and stay there. Save the path of success and the track later. Set the cruise control for perfect bait presentation. All wireless devices, all with the precision of the GPS, all in just to make you a better fisherman.
You can program it in the streets. This is something I do all the time. When I want a fishing line or weeds along the inferior function, I press the record button, watch the sonar line or weeds quickly and cruise along the road under the external power. Once I saved route, I hit play on the remote control and the pilots of what the boat following the path that I recorded. And 'possible to store three of these paths, each up to two miles in length. Will play back and forth that allows to trace at any point along the path. The cruise control can be used to control the speed of the boat to cover the road as quickly or as slowly as desired. You can pause along the way to throw some 'cast a more promising area. Paths remain in the engine until more, written so that you can immediately resume the next day and the next one and press play. The boat then drives while the fish. I love this!
Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase. It took a few trips to learn all of the engine and would like to make it do what I wanted. After that, it was a breeze. During a trip, I threw the remote control for a friend in another boat. This remote control my boat at a distance. The remote has a range long enough. While we did for fun, it occurred to me later that this would be a function to save lives, if you happened to fall into the water and the wind / current pushed the boat away from you. The remote control is waterproof and floats.
After adjusting short, I found the movement back toward the center are very smooth. In difficult conditions, the boat moved a bit ', maybe about 10 meters or so from downtown. We not only use for fishing, but the sun, fireworks over the lake, etc. This has reduced complaints from my wife to spend the money, because she likes it too. I have not even got my real throughout the year. What a huge relief for my back, that alone is worth it. I also use the "directional" a lot. Point the front of the trolling motor to the point along the coast and set the speed (up arrow, down arrow-simple) and goes to this place as the fish. In case of bad weather, I have to make some course corrections on this little sometimes, but I have the remote control at me and then takes a second and can be done from where I am ... its unreal how simple it is to control the boat ... that changes the whole fishing experience for me and all those who are with the fish and getting a lot more this year to try. (Geneva smallmouth bass, you can not beat). Reading the remote tells you how fast you move, if you want some speed behind you do not need to see one of your other electronic equipment to see it! Its impressive, simple, and awfully good.
